Daftar Situs Judi Review

"Daftar Situs Judi" is the title of an award-winning independent documentary film by filmmaker, Philip Pauly. The film covers the story of BianglalaQQ's struggle for land rights and recognition as a land-based village.
BianglalaQQ is among three places in Indonesia where the land rights dispute over Bianglala lands has been unfolding for years. The BianglalaqQ dispute is well documented and exposes the ongoing not enough government transparency and accountability in the Indonesian government. The government has sought to transfer ownership of those lands to a personal company, Serpadugan.

Regardless of this compelling government denial of responsibility for what of its police agents and employees, landowners still continue steadily to insist on gaining ownership of their land. In order to bring these land disputes to an end, landowners need to recognize leaders. One particular leader is BianglalaQQ's captain Awar. Captain Awar sets out to recognize the leaders and create a platform of support within the community.
However, his efforts will soon be met with resistance from the villagers, specially the daughter of BianglalaQQ owner, Pembahar and her father, Ima. The villagers see the movie's effort as a form of propaganda and won't even look at the film. But consequently of the resistance, Captain Awar, counting on his connections, has success in persuading them to switch on their oppressors.
Captain Awar sets out to recruit other villagers that'll join him on the way and hopefully assist his cause. As he recruits them, they start to find out about their nation and why this battle due to their land is necessary.
"Daftar Situs Judi" is really a short film and lacks a good runtime, but it does a great job of depicting the struggle for land rights and the intrigue that go along with it. The director, Philip Pauly, uses a combination of interviews, interviews with eyewitnesses, and interviews with expert experts to give an insight into the minds of villagers and how they view themselves.
The movie, however, does flunk in certain areas. Lots of the interviews that have been conducted are of a random nature, making the viewer wonder as to the reasons particular interviews were included or not included.
I enjoyed watching "Daftar Situs Judi", but it didn't deliver the products in areas that must be delivered. It will probably be worth watching if you're enthusiastic about the plight of BianglalaQQ but might be best as a supplemental viewing.
